Federal Tax Credit:

The California Solar Initiative (CSI):

 

The CSI program was launched in 2007 with the goal of reaching 1,940 megawatts of installed solar power by the year 2016. Roughly equivalent to one million residential solar installations, this program is often called the "million solar roofs" initiative. Your exact savings will depend on a number of factors.
